Stimulating the Powerful Healing Mechanisms in the Body

Sometimes...what is so simple and powerful is no work at all. Feeling sort of slow and lazy these days? Well, while you're sitting on the couch or the floor vegg'ing out, be aware that what you're meditating on, thinking about, focusing on is either releasing healing hormones into your body to help you feel better, or painful ones to make you feel worse.

Our minds never stand still. Observe that that you are listening, talking, etc. all the time. Do you have a silent opinion or feeling that you would never say as you're listening to the baby near you wail, someone ranting or complaining, or playing loud music? Well, maybe you'd say it on Facebook-right? Or do you have a penchant to be empathic with people, passive, quiet, a listener, intuitive? Some people have chronic negative self talk where they are down on themselves all the time. This will make you seriously ill and leads to addiction. We have a natural way of being but we can also train ourselves to respond to life differently so that we'll feel better.
