Attachment

Ya know...attachment to people is hard when your personality is independent, free, open, generous, adventurous.  I just listened to a song that taught to keep your hand wide open because you can't lose a thing if belongs to you.  Otherwise, throw it away.

But people are not for using and throwing away.  But, the question is, can people really "belong" to us?  We don't buy our mates.  We don't own our families.  People do family cut-offs all the time.  People divorce all the time.  Families break up all the time.  As we look around at our society, we see that ultimately, people are free to roam and live a life without obligation, despite our mores.  And the fact is, people do roam.

But look at those that are very, very successful.  Observe those that are very well respected and loved.  They are mated.  Or they were mated and are widowed.  It really looks to me like it's super important in life to have a best friend who you bond to body and soul.  It's a magical, treacherous, heart-rending attachment because of the fragility of the body.  That person who you are so intertwined with could die, will die someday.  Maybe they will die before you and then you'll be alone.  But, that's not always terrible.  You can feel alone in a crowd!  It all has to do with attachment.

I say, "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all".  And really, if you've never been attached body and soul and had your heart rent in pieces from love, you haven't lived.  Loves hurts and love heals and it ATTACHES.  That's just it's way because of nature.  So, to deny attachment is to deny natural flow.  I want my hand to eventually hold one special hand and risk losing that hand to natural forces so that I can really know what it feels like to be attached at every level.

Namaste.

Creating New Personal Growth

Venus is the planet of Love.  Jupiter is the planet of expansion, wisdom, and higher learning.  Today, the full Moon is in Gemini at the same degree Venus was in in her earlier transit this year.  It's also the same degree Jupiter will be in at 12/21/12.  The astrological aspect is bringing into focus how we can continue to grow personally but remain optimistic.

This has me pondering.  Today, I was putting up flyers for my healing practice at our local university which is the school of my patient who goes there, whose boss is the fellow I am "very attracted to"...or love.  The 2 being connected is all "coincidence" if you believe in that.  I think everything happens for a reason.  Venus-love, Jupiter-higher learning.  And today, all day, I've been thinking about a personality trait I have of being very impatient in personal relationships, but not work relationships.  Why?  How can I grow personally in this area?  How can I become more laid back like my friend who I'm attracted to?  He's Mr. Cool here in town.

I know I am a fairly well liked if not a mystifying person by those who know me fairly well.  I am loved by my family.  But I am a failure at personal relationships with males because I have zero tolerance for how slow they go emotionally.  LOL!!!!!  How many women feel this way?  I'm an empath, so I process things quickly.  Very quickly...and I move on.  That doesn't feel too comfy to a guy.  I want to be kind without being a doormat in a personal relationship.  But I'm very honest and you can count on me to let you know what I really think.

I guess I'll apply to this area, what has helped me succeed in every other area of my life so far...intuition.  The Universe directly communicates to me which way to go.  I just have to listen.  Because when it comes to men...I really don't have a clue.

What Controls Your Health?

http://cen.acs.org/articles/90/i42/Robert-J-Lefkowitz-Brian-K.html

The above link takes you to the article on the winners of the Nobel Peace Prize in Science for 2012.  The announcement of this award woke me up on NPR radio 2 days ago.  It was exciting news to me because for about 2 years now I've been geeked on the theory that the cell receptors of the cell membrane control our health, not our DNA, which is in the nucleus.

In particular, I was reading "The Biology of Belief" by Bruce Lipton, PhD and "The Tao of Physics" by heavyweight Fritjof Capra.  The two works together constitute one, huge, long meditation on the nature of the body as a waveform.  Concurrently, I had been recommending the Blood Type Diet to my patients at Holistic Health Options, G.R. (my clinic).  That diet is based on DNA or blood type.  With this new research, I believe it suggests that our DNA is like an operating system on the computer that is our body.  It helps organize the incoming information but it doesn't control it.  Neither does the operating system control the computer.  The computer is a combination of it's software programs and documents.  But...if you ignore how the operating system is running, it can crash your computer.  The same can be said of your body and it's DNA.  Ok...cognitive dissonance and all that.  Human beings like to just say "Hokum" with no back up if it feels good to them.  Science doesn't work that way.  But frankly, if you believe that, then their DNA WILL control you.  Who would want that?  Does that somehow feel comfy?  It's certainly not freedom over your own body.  The cell receptors are navigating our evolution based on choice.  That oversteps DNA.

We are individuals.  Holistic medicine deals with each person who walks through the door.  "Because each atom has its own specific energy signature (wobble), asseblies of atoms (molecules) collectively radiate their own identifying energy patterns.  So every material structure in the universe, including you and me, radiates a unique energy signature."-Bruce Lipton PhD from "The Biology of Belief"

Below is a picture of the cell receptors that lie in every cell of your body shuttling information from the outside, to the inside and from your mind to your cells.  I think, that this information is going to revolutionize the true meaning of healthcare for the 21st century.

Holistic Medicine in 2012

If you click on the title above, it will link to my website.  There you will find my fees, my office schedule, contact information, and the details of my practice, as well as pictures.

2011 was my best year yet and I expect and want trajectory growth in 2012.  Holistic Health and the market for it are burgeoning, although you don't see much in the media about it.  I have a very affordable pre-pay cash plan and my treatments are efficient.  If you come and see me, be advised that we will talk about lifestyle habits that you may want my help assessing as well as food choices.  I do not get bossy our authoritative with my patients about their body.  It's YOUR body.  But, if you are coming to me for help, I will educate you on the consequences of every piece you tell me.  And that can be a good thing.  It's all about learning and choices.  And I always accept any choices my patients make for themselves-non-judgmentally.  For the truth is, IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!!

Give me a call.  818-8412 and join the crowd flocking into my office to FEEL BETTER!
